Fair Housing Statement

Engel & Völkers Americas, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates, master licensees, licensees, sublicensees and/or their respective agents fully support the principles of the Fair Housing, including, but not limited to 1) the Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968), as amended, which generally prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents of legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability) and 2) the Canadian Fair Housing Act, a federal statute that prohibits discrimination in the sale or rental of housing, as well as in residential real-estate related transactions such as advertising, mortgage lending, homeowner's insurance and zoning. The law makes it unlawful to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, and national origin, disability and familial status.

Engel & Völkers require each and every Engel & Völkers's independently owned and operated, franchised real estate brokerage to comply with all federal, state or provincial and local laws, regulations and decrees applicable, including without limitation, the requirements imposed by the Fair Housing Act.
